At june the 5th we battled against three amazing bands and won, the jury's comment was very positive (highly skilled, very tight and convincing!!!)

At august 14th we'll open the Springstof-festival featuring: Stormrider; The 11th Hour; Toxocara; Izegrim; Seita; Scarred and Symphonie of Destruction.

At june 5, Disquiet will play in 't Ukien, Kampen with Control State; Burial Earth; Bloodsin and I.N.R.I.

It's a bandcontest (with the first three bands), the winner will play at the Springstoffestival at august 14th of 2010 also in 't Ukien.

Disquiet is very busy writing lyrics for new songs. Titles are "Predator", "Carved Soul", "No Mercy Left" and revised versions of "Untill the Victory" and "Boots".

They will all be played live at future live shows coming to you soon.

Tommie Bonajo has mixed the music for our upcoming demo "Hate Incarnate" with three songs: Approval Denied; Madcap's Rise and Pain. It's souning great already!!!

Anytime now, the vocal recordings are being completed. After that the recordings are finished and then it's waiting for the mixing and mastering process.

Friday 22 february was the first round of the Dutch underground metal competition, the MetalBattle 2008.

We had some good competition, but in the end the jury decided we were the rightfull winners of the night.

So check us out in the semi-finales, 14 March, Rotterdam, The Baroeg!!! 

Disquiet is proud to announce Harry van Breda is the new bassplayer. Harry also plays with Xantossa, Blowtorch, Irritation and Gorgelrot.

Harry joined Disquiet in the beginning of februari 2008, he's working hard to join Disquiet on stage.

22 Februari at the Artishock Soest, Metalbattle, will be his stagedebut with Disquiet.

Fabian's new baby:

After having waited for 2 1/2 years (unforseen circumstances...) the guitar was sent to Fabian from Guitar Asyum, New York after arrival from the Jackson USA factory. 

It´s the Jackson USA Select, Warrior I in Bolted Steel graphic. This guitar is equipped with specially designed Seymour Duncan Invader humbuckers, delivering an awesome wall of sound.  

Because of the terrible delay he also added the Jackson USA Kelly II to his collection:

We are very busy with our website and Myspace. Furthermore we are working hard on recording of songs for our first album which will be released end of 2008/ beginning of 2009. 

We played some shows in November with our former Bass player J. who left The Netherlands on december 2nd 2007. He went back to his homeland Suriname, CHEERS MAN!!!
